SHOPPING IN DARTMOUTH

Shopping in Dartmouth has become very popular for shoppers in recent years, apart from being  renowned  for its Regatta at the end of August. The emphasis is on small local shops selling quality products and goods, catering for local people and visitors alike.

CYCLING ROUTES IN SOUTH DEVON

South Devon is a beautiful area, and ideal for exploring on two wheels – there are many traffic free routes and plenty of quiet country lanes to explore. There are also some longer distance routes for the more experienced riders, which include The National Cycle Network and areas of Dartmoor. The National Cycle Network is part of a 8000 mile network of cycling routes all over the UK controlled by Sustrans who partner with various local groups.

A GREAT SHOPPING EXPERIENCE IN EXETER

Shopping is one of the Nation’s great  pastimes, and there is no better place to indulge in a bit of retail therapy then the historic City of Exeter, set in Devon and which lies on the River Exe. ABBFEST

On Friday the 23rd September, the annual Abbfest at Fermoys Garden Centre located at Ipplepen near Newton Abbot, will commence for a fun weekend of sampling some of Devon’s best food and beer from it’s producers.

Visitors to the Festival will be able to try a variety of different delicacies including local Devon meats, traditional Devon fudge, handbaked bakery and even Spanish Chirros Donuts! More than 130 different beers and ciders are also available all produced in Devon. There will also be more than 70 craft stalls. Continue reading
